Antique oval-framed portrait: a hand-tinted photograph of a young woman, circa 1920s. Hand-colored over a photographic portrait — note the tinted cheeks — under convex bubble glass in an oval gilt metal frame with a crest ornament at the top. Her collar is decorated with Scottie dogs, a signature 1920s detail. Wire hanger on the back; ready to hang. Condition: Good antique condition. Portrait clear with soft, even toning. The frame has small chips to the gilt finish (see close-up photos), and the paper backing is aged, stained, and worn, as expected at this age. Measures 10" x 7.5" x 1" deep, framed.
