About this piece
A shallow Chelsea House porcelain bowl with a shaped scalloped rim, pierced handles and a low foot. Colorful birds on leafy branches decorate the interior, framed by elaborate gold floral and scroll borders. Could be beautiful hung on a plate wall or propped up on a stand. The underside bears the Chelsea House mark and a Made in China foil label, with green felt pads on the foot. Scuffing and discoloration are visible along the foot ring. Stamped and labeled for decorative purposes only; not for food use, with an explicit warning that the article may poison food.
