About this piece
Toile in gold, on terra cotta. Creative Co-Op terra cotta vase in a white crackle glaze with a gold and ochre floral toile pattern all the way around — companion colorway to the black-and-white version (this vase was made in 3 styles). Ginger-jar shape, short rolled rim, unglazed terra cotta base with three felt pads. Made in China for Creative Co-Op of Memphis, TN; decorative use — dried or faux stems, or lovely empty. Condition notes (please see photos): there are spots of discoloration in the glaze — soft mottled patches on the body and inside the rim — plus fine crackling throughout, which is part of this finish. No chips or cracks found. Priced with the discoloration in mind. Measures about 6" tall x 4" wide. Warm French country for a shelf, mantel, or table — and it pairs with the black toile version if you catch both in my shop. Carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
