About this piece
Decorative wooden birdcage in deep green with hand-painted florals. Wood frame with a wire dome top, turned finial and hanging ring, hand-painted gold and rust flowers across the frieze, slide-out bottom tray, and small bun feet. Stands on a table or hangs from the ring. Condition: Very good vintage condition. Honest age wear to the paint at the edges and feet, consistent with age — see photos. Structurally sound. Sold as decor (not intended for live birds). Measures 19" tall overall; base 12" long x 8.5" deep. Beautiful with a trailing plant, pillar candles (LED recommended), or as a wedding card cage. French country, cottage, and shabby chic rooms all suit it. Carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
