About this piece
A round earthenware plate with a shallow well and scalloped rim, molded with radiating lobed leaves around a small central rosette. Glossy green glaze pools darker in the recessed decoration, emphasizing the branching veins and raised foliage. The reverse is green-glazed with an unglazed cream-colored foot ring and no visible maker’s mark. Extensive glaze crazing, a small area of glaze loss on the face, and wear to the foot ring are visible. Maker, pattern name and production date remain unconfirmed. Would be beautiful hanging on a plate wall or displayed on a stand. Diameter: 9 inches Height: 1 inch
