About this piece
A shallow glazed ceramic dish with an irregular scalloped rim and an upright brown twig-form loop handle. Overlapping green serrated leaves and small ochre flowers rise from a buff basketweave ground, with coral-red accents around the edge. The low raised base carries mottled brown, ochre and green glaze. Its naturalistic decoration is in the majolica tradition. Maker and age remain unconfirmed; no underside or readable maker’s mark is shown. Display on a stand or as part of a plate wall. Width: 12 Length: 11 Height: 2
