About this piece
Two graduated-size ceramic geese with long upright necks and molded feather detail. Turquoise-blue glaze covers the bodies, contrasting with pale yellow-green bills and webbed feet and mottled purple-brown rockwork bases. The underside shown bears an impressed CHINA mark. The figures have slightly lifted wings and individually modeled bases. Visible condition details include glaze crazing and small chips at wing edges and the base rim.
