About this piece
A round, shallow ceramic charger with a burgundy-magenta ground, large orange and purple flowers, green-gray leaves, and butterflies. Raised gold outlines define the decoration, with a gilt rim framing the plate. Could be beautiful hung on a plate wall or propped up on a stand. The underside retains a “New Country Charm” label naming Toyo Trading Co. and stating “Made in China.” The stamped warning reads “Not for food use / May poison food / For decorative purpose only.” Scuffing is visible around the foot ring; additional faded red marks are illegible.
