About this piece
A broad, shallow VIETRI serving bowl with raised cabbage-leaf veins and a wide, undulating rim. Mottled light-to-dark green decoration beneath a glossy glaze emphasizes the naturalistic leaf relief, while a low circular foot supports the bowl. The underside is marked “HAND PAINTED,” “ITALY,” “© VIETRI - 1997” and “7885/24,” with an impressed “MADE IN ITALY” mark. The copyright date does not establish the exact production year; the formal pattern name is unconfirmed. A rim chip exposes the pale ceramic body, and the unglazed foot ring shows minor wear. Four protective pads are attached underneath. Diameter: 9.5 inches Height: 2 inches
