About this piece
An Italian VIETRI ceramic bowl with a broad scalloped rim, rounded body and low ring foot. Overlapping oak-like leaves and branching pale veins are modeled in relief across the interior, beneath a glossy hand-painted finish in varied greens. The underside is marked “HAND PAINTED,” “ITALY” and “© VIETRI - 1987,” with a raised “MADE IN ITALY” mark. The copyright date does not establish the production year; the exact commercial pattern remains unconfirmed. Three felt pads are attached to the cream-colored unglazed foot ring. Diameter: 7 inches Height: 2.5 inches
