About this piece
Vintage hammered brass planter / cachepot, mid-20th century, in the style of Indian brassware of the 1960s–70s. The rounded body has a hand-hammered texture, a scalloped rim, and a raised rope-and-tassel relief circling the pot, all resting on three small feet. Warm golden patina throughout — unmarked. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No dents or cracks. Interior shows patina and spotting consistent with age (see photos) — not watertight, so use a plastic liner or insert for live plants, or style with dried stems as-is. Measures approximately 3 inches tall x 6 inches wide. Beautiful on a bookshelf, mantel, or bar cart — alone or grouped with other brass. Lovely gift for a plant lover. Carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
