About this piece
A handled decorative bottle with a cream-colored, leather-like covering and a sailing-ship picture across the front. Black bands with gold rope motifs frame the neck and run down the sides, with gold scrollwork above the ship. A rounded wooden stopper completes the bottle. Visible wear includes scratches to the stopper, finish loss on the handle, and scuffing and discoloration to the covering, especially underneath.
