About this piece
Vintage woven stoneware basket by Parmentier Pottery (Jim & Shirl Parmentier, North Carolina). Hand-woven from ribbed clay strips in a speckled cream glaze, with twisted rope handles at both ends. Stamped "PARMENTIER" on the underside. Condition: Very good vintage condition. No chips or cracks. Light wear consistent with age. Measures 9" x 4" x 4.5" tall. Wonderful as a bread or fruit basket, a planter cachepot, or styled empty on a counter or shelf — beautiful in farmhouse and French country kitchens. Carefully packed and shipped with tracking.
