About this piece
A blue-and-white bowl with a wide, rounded body, flaring rim and raised ring foot. Dense cobalt-blue bamboo stalks and fine leafy branches surround the exterior, framed by a thin line beneath the rim and a broad blue band around the foot. The interior is plain white with a glossy glaze. The white ceramic body appears to be porcelain. Small blue character-like details appear beside the foot but are not clear enough to identify; the recessed underside has no visible stamp. Maker, date and country of origin remain unconfirmed. Diameter: 5 Height: 2.5
