About this piece
A shallow circular cloisonné dish depicting a flowering plum tree with pink and yellow blossoms, red buds and green branches. Fine wire cloud scrolls fill the turquoise ground, framed by a cobalt-blue scalloped border and brass-colored rim. The turquoise-enamel underside has wire-outlined flowers and leaves around a raised circular foot and an unmarked central base. The enamel is worked over a metal body; the underlying alloy is unconfirmed. Maker and date are not established, and the supplied reference pages do not confirm an exact match. Diameter: 5 Height: 1 Stand not included.
