About this piece
Large oval ceramic centerpiece bowl with pierced basketweave sides, a scalloped rim, and a solid oval base. Burgundy stripes and dark outlines accent the interlacing bands, framing a hand-painted long-tailed bird among pink flowers, green foliage, and stylized rocks. The exterior is predominantly white with raised, grooved latticework. The underside retains a Saks Fifth Avenue retail label marked “Made in Portugal” and a faint “Hand Painted Portugal” inscription.
